Secure Browser

Chrome

• The following replacement parameters are needed in the Google Admin console when adding the SecureTest Progressive Web Application:
  • Extension ID field: cblbmnlkfgdiagbghnilmekjjlibbkmg
  • Custom URL: https://pwa.cambiumtds.com/securebrowser.xml
• LEAs using devices with ChromeOS will require a new secure browser application, the version associated with the SecureTest Progressive Web Application, beginning with the release of ChromeOS version 139. Devices that remain on ChromeOS version 138 can continue to use the previously available version of the secure browser.

Versions

• The updated secure browser versions for the 2026–27 CAASPP and ELPAC administrations are presented in table 1. These are the only secure browser versions supported for testing.
• If the Windows, macOS, or Linux testing device already has version 18 of the secure browser installed, no updates are required for the 2026–27 test administration.

Ancillary Software

• JAWS version 2026 is supported upon its release.

Additions

The additions to the list of supported operating system versions for the 2026–27 CAASPP and ELPAC administrations are presented in table 2.

Deletions

Table 3 presents the operating systems that will be deleted from the list of supported operating system versions for the 2026–27 CAASPP and ELPAC administrations.
